JusDraft is an internal legal document drafting tool that allows your organisation to draft legal documents or complete court forms without the need for an attorney.

The service also features a 24/7 telephone legal helpline, a range of legal information and self-help legal video tutorials.

Documents and forms are created by answering a series of logic driven questions. As you answer each question, the document is automatically tailored to the individual’s circumstances in real-time.

There are explanations and often practical examples next to each question to explain complex legal principles in plain English.

You can save your document, export it to Word or PDF or print it straight away.

You can also share it with the end user or with a partner law firm or organisation you already work with.

Our legal content team is continually creating new forms and document templates. Currently the following document templates are available:

• Will for an unmarried person
• Affidavit for criminal charges
• Application for a Maintenance Order
• Application for Protection Order - Domestic violence
• Application for Protection Order - Protection from harassment
• Referring a dispute to the CCMA for conciliation

If a document you require is not available, please email us at hello@jusdraft.co.za and we will add your document to our list of documents to develop and email you once its available.

Once you are registered and logged in you will be able to view Lipco’s telephone legal advice helpline number at the top of any page. You can call this number for assistance at any time.

Sign up to JusDraft is free. Thereafter, every quarter (end of March, June, September and December) we will send you an invoice for R12.50 for every legal document that you created using the JusDraft service. This can be paid by EFT and the details thereof will be included in our invoice to you.

Our hope is that you can offer a legal service to people within your community for R25. Half of that is kept by you to support the incredible work you are already doing.

You can cancel your JusDraft access at any point by simply emailing us at hello@jusdraft.co.za.

JusDraft is an in-house legal document drafting tool, not designed for individual users. That said, we have a sister website www.thelawstore.co.za that offers the same legal documents at fixed fees using the same document automation technology.

Absolutely – you can very easily duplicate documents using the ‘duplicate’ button below each document – please take care to update the answers to the questions before printing or sharing with someone else.
